EuroTeam design GROUP

The EuroTeam Design Group (etdG) offers building design services to qualifying ministries. These ministries have included churches, private Christian schools, Bible schools, camps, conference centers and administrative centers. Other ministry types would include evangelical services to build the Body of Christ throughout Europe.

No fee is charged for our design services, but we ask that the ministry partner with us by supplying transportation costs to and from the site and room and board costs during the site visit. Two members of our staff travel to the site to meet with the ministry, and discuss its needs, goals and desires. A typical site visit lasts from two to six days. Transportation costs can be shared if there is another ministry site in the area to be investigated. In addition, the ministry receiving our services is asked to cover typical office expenses, such as office supplies, phone calls, faxes, photocopies and other items used to perform the work on that ministry's project. All of our staff receive their living expenses by faith from volunteer donors who contribute to this need.

Design services include:

  • Architectural
  • Engineering
  • Site planning
  • Interior design
  • Landscaping

Gospel House: Latvia

Once a part of the Soviet Union, and now sharing a border with Russia, Latvia was once seen as a key entry point for Christians wanting to spread their faith to the East. The town of Zilupe, in the very eastern part of Latvia was once home to the 'Gospel House' which was a small building used for worship and also as a sending off point for taking Bibles into Russia.

This project involves the building of a small church building on the site of the 'Gospel House' to bring the Gospel to this part of Latvia and beyond.

The building will be built in phases, with the first phase to be the construction of the chapel and pastor's office. The second phase will be to add classrooms for Christian education, and the third phase will be a kitchen and dining room for social events and also as an outreach to the neighboring community.
The structure of the building is developed from roof trusses that can be built on site and lifted into place, after which the walls are added. This type of construction was chosen to allow the work to be done by non-professionals, out of locally available materials

Library Project: Germany

This September has gotten off to a rolling start. We were asked to look at the space below and see how it could be utilzed as a library.

This is a great space! With the partnership of a local German architect we have arrived at the following solution. One of the main challenges has been lighting. They desire that the wire be hidden. This is no small challenge since this space was initially slated as storage. Once it was done and the roof on, they saw the beauty and decided to put it to better (and more public) use. I think they made the right decision. Construction is scheduled to begin in January of next year.
