When we have the chance we gladly partner with fellow GEM missionaries for projects. EuroTeam member Jim was able to partner with eDOT team member Sue to lead a team from Crossroads Church in Minnesota for a new mobile E-Learning center in Kharkov, Ukraine.

Jim and Sue headed to Kiev, Ukraine a few days early to re-image 8 laptops that had been used on previous projects. The laptops will now be used by the local church in Kharkov to continue outreach ministries using computers.

Our team arrived on 6 March and was greeted by an ice storm as we picked them up from the Kharkov airport! Welcome to Minnesota... I mean Kharkov... We met with Pastor Alexander the next morning and started talking over the week's plans.

Pastor Glen had the opportunity to preach in the morning worship service at Central Baptist Church in Kharkov. Always fun to contribute to the local ministry wherever we can. The music is always spectacular, and the children singing many songs for Women's Day was a real highlight!

We had 2 classes daily. One in the afternoon and one in the evening. Between the 2 classes we had 68 students. 54 came on a consistent basis. A challenge for space and laptop availability. We were able to expand to 10 laptops with 3 and 4 people at some. All the students were great to work with and very appreciative of our help.

Ukraine is heavily influenced by the Orthodox Church. Our team had a chance to visit an Orthodox Church and see for themselves a glimse of the spiritual condition of Ukraine.

We had 50 students come to the graduation church service on the 15th of March. Each student received a certificate of participation and a Russian Bible. A highlight of the church service was one woman coming forward to repent! The students now have a bible in hand and the local church to continue to contact them by phone or in person. Those that still don't know Christ will continue to have opportunities to hear the Gospel.

Jim also had a chance to meet with former English students from last year's TEFL trip to Kharkov. Jim had some special times to meet and pray with Arash as he faces challenges in receiving his refugee status to stay in Ukraine and continue his veterinary medicine studies.

Central Baptist Church will continue to use the laptops to conduct computer classes in local villages, church plants and orphanages. Providing computer skills to help people find better employment, as well as presenting the Gospel message to the students.
