Ecole Daniel is a Christian school K through 8th grade. There are very few Christian schools in France. The school has no funding from the state. They want to keep tuition low so that many kids can attend their school. For these reasons, Ecole Daniel doesn't have much money for building and renovation. For five years this school has been praying for practical help so that they can build two new class rooms and an office! It is really a privilege that EuroTeam can be the answer to these prayers.

Project leader Matt loved spending time with a team from his home state of California. They worked really hard, and were flexible. There was a lot of work to be done. The first week they did demolition work on several connected old cabins. The school wants to use this structure to create more classroom space.

The second week they dug a long trench and laid five conduit lines for water, power, phone, and security video. During their breaks, the team liked to spend time with the kids. They ate with the kids and played with them as well. A favorite game was soccer. Even though they didn't speak each other's language very well they felt very connected to each other.

The team was very impressed with the children. They cared for their school so much. They understood what the work team was doing there and they were thankful that the team came and helped them. The team was involved in the school chapel times and when they visited their classrooms many of the kids volunteered to pray out loud for the team. The team was touched with the kids' love for them and for the school. The team hopes they made a difference for the next generations of Christians in France.
