Kim Garrity and Matt Bullock had a great time in Fontaine L'Eveque, Belgium . The team worked really hard with a lot of help from the church members. The main work was chipping out old damaged mortar from around the stone and bricks, then sand blasting and re-mortering it. This will help the building to last another hundred years and keep the rain out.

L-R- Guys Working / Finished Building
As happens on many EuroTeam projects, the most memorable things are not the physical work but the spiritual work. Even though we worked and got a lot done one the church building the most important thing for us is seeing how the church is being a light to the people in that area.
L-R- Work on Side of Building / Sandblasting
That area of Belgium is both spiritually and economically depressed. The buildings are covered in a black dust from the former coal mining and steel foundries. The Church's goal is it to be a light in this area which they want to be reflected by having a bright, happier looking building. It was really encouraging to work with a church that is so involved in reaching the non-Christian community.
